In 1996, DIOSA.COM was first registered in California as an Internet top-level domain, primarily as a portfolio site for Bruce Mewhinney at Diosa Studios.

Later the four DIOSA™ domains together offered a free, highly selective directory of Worldwide Web-sites promoting international cooperation through commerce, political and news networks, social-service organizations, and digital-video media.
